I have the Mirena in and am not sure if I am just a ***** (thats very likely) or if I am still suffering from PMS. Also, has anyone that has one had any complications w/it?

I've had my IUD for almost 3 years its great. i do tend to get mood swings but that was when i first got it placed i also was cramping, but only for the first week. I have not had any complications with it. I've actually gotten lighter periods that only last 2-3 days which i LOVE!! and the best thing about it is that i don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday or visiting the doctor every 3 months. I think its great!! Maybe you are just a *****! LOL! well hope you get over your mood swing soon! Hope I've helped!

an IUD doesn't change your hormonal output, so if you had PMS before, you will have it with. Common side effects of IUDs of any kind are consistent with spotting, changes in appetite and occasional constipation.

yes you still get PMS=mine hurt from penetration and had to have it removed
