I wanted to be an astronaut and go to other planets. As you’ve probably guessed, that one didn’t come true (yet).

Oh my gosh! My mother and I just talked about this other day. She told me that when I was in elementary school, I stood up in front of my classmates and teacher and other parents and said that I wanted to be a waitress when I grow up. That really embarrassed my mother so bad. Every other kids said they wanted to be a cop, firefighter, doctor, singer, actor and I stood up and said, "a waitress".
But thank God, I was so off the mark! No offense, there is nothing wrong with being a waitress, but my parents wanted more out of my sister and I.

I wanted to be a Mom, and I am.
I also wanted to be an author, and although I have written some poetry, I have not become an author.
