Develop your passion.
Take classes.
Read plays.
Watch movies.
Go to the theatre.
Get involved with a community group.
What kind of actor do you want to be? Do you want to act in commercials or go further with movies or theatre?
Have a friend video tape you acting so you can learn how to critique your own efforts.
You'll need a head shot and a bio. Take some marketing classes so you can learn how to project yourself in the best possible way.
Now, go break a leg.

If you are still in school then you should participate in your school musicals, plays, variety shows, dramas and other school activites that require acting. To be a great actor the first thing that you need is to love acting. Then you need to stay focused and believe that whatever you are doing- you have what it takes to become an actor. When you are acting you should keep a straight face and calm youself and stay focused on what you are doing. There is no trick it's just the focus and you ability. Remember it takes confidence and determination to succed in what you want to do in life!
I believe that you can make a great actor someday.

You don't just become an actor, your basically born with the talent to act. If you do have talent adn the passion and stama then audtion for comunity theatre productions. Read basically everything you can on it, and I mean everything. Pratice, pratice, pratice, and find a coach. Don't jsut jump into something you don't think you'll like 10 years down the road. Acting is very demanding, and challenging, but it's also very thrilling and entrigging.

First you should take drama classes. After a lot of practice you need to go to an agency and they will do the rest. Good luck!!!

Your best bet is to find a company that can help teach you acting, Barbazon is one my friend used for modeling and she is doing fine with that, they also do acting. Other than that you have to go to open calls/castings.
