As this is a language arts class, don't forget that your diction, emotion and gesture are more important than the costumes.
Keep them simple. What you have described is just fine.
By gesture, I mean when you change into a donkey, think about how a donkey postures itself. The flip of the ears may be all it takes for you to be believed.

These are good already, what you have: If the focus is language arts, then use very minimal stuff, unless everyone else is doing elaborate things. For the donkey, you could put grey duct tape on some socks and color them to look like gray hooves. Simple, and gets the job done.
If you need more than simple stuff, then those are hard parts to dress. Do you know anyone in the theatre wardrobe department that might have some props to lend you?

I agree. Many times in the show, all that bottom changes is his head or a head and tail also. If the show is supposed to be slightly period, you could also add a wide belt or boot toppers or a floppy hat to demitrius, and wear the same basic thing for bottom--maybe with a different colored shirt, if you wanted to get more pieces.
We costume people for school projects all the time, and while you want to fit in with what everyone else is doing, you will definately not be graded so much on the complexity of your costume, but the thought you put into it. So I think you're off to a great start.

Seriously try a costume shop for Bottom. Remember that he is poor and one of the common folk. What is his job? Dress him accordingly. Demetrius needs slacks and high boots. Think prince charming almost. Your fairy needs to be whistful. Think romantic and woodsy. You need sheer gauzy material that is shredded and drapes all over you. You're a woodland fairy. Think about blending in. You're kind of sexy but quirky. You can also add a tail to Demetrius. You don't have to, but it's an extra feature.

It's a language Arts Class. You'll be fine. Make sure that you're wearing something very simple so the costume pieces are shown off. I'd go with solid colored clothing. No prints or logos. Preferably - black slacks and a black shirt and shoes (flats). That'd be best, I think.

wear a light t-shirt, to change your tops, gray to be exact wear that for the donkey w/gray leggins and then just layer on top of that ,so you only have to take off layers, and get aperson to help you change from 1 cozstostume to the others it really works, it is super fast. oh and wear a peasant (multi- colored) skirt for the fairy, its easy on and off and it has the fairy look.
