We have an insurgency going on and supposedly things are getting better. But if that were true, less soldiers would be getting murdered in Iraq, not more. If that were true, less Iraqies would be getting murdered and their numbers are up too. How many more will have to die before the Bush administration gets it? Will he ever get it? Or, is there just too much hubris to go around in the White house that is coupled with a sociopathology for death and destruction for Bush or Cheney to ever get it?

Phil C.... considering that over 600,000 Iraqies have been killed in Iraq since the war began, then I'd say your numbers about Phily are very exaggerated.

you are correct of course, the Bush-Cheney regime and the right wing radical GOP think the surge is working, and more deaths of American soldiers is not a concern, plus they don't report the deaths of the private contractors with militia who work for the military. the president wants to expand his invasion into Iran, if he attempts to go nuclear, he will of course try to convince Americans that it is a necessary war based on lies

sure and No.. It relies upon who the soldier is. some infantrymen are fairly variety and effective in direction of human beings. There are some who're finished of hatred, they believe that each sinlge man or woman is a terrorist. they have been comments of rockets fires in Afghan weddings from US infantrymen. it would want to instruct that those might want to be merely infantrymen experimenting because it truly might want to not were a mistake. US have technologies that could want to really comprehend human beings and places. they can see from a thoughts differents by satellites and seeing a lot of toddlers does not make the position a terrorist warm spot. the infantrymen also get faraway from the killing, that shows that they are killing for interesting because they could be reasoned why they did it in the experience that they did it through accidently. that they had performed it some circumstances in Iraq. some did in Afghanistan.

85% of Iraq is under control by the Iraqi government. There has been progress. But, it is evident we are making the same mistakes we commented in Nam and Korea. If we are going to fight, let us do so. Turn the military lose, and you will see victory within six months. But, everyone is so scared of what the world may think or do. Well, they can kiss our donkey.

Besides, this is nothing compared to the amount of soldiers who died in Nam and Korea. But, does anyone care? Are we trying to improve the situation or we just sitting around complaining? People like you is what caused the deaths of so many in Nam. Ignorance with knowing the true facts.

What is it about this war and subsequent insurgency that you and those like you don't understand? To begin with No one is For war, even me and I am a Bush supporter as well as my son. I am for being in Iraq and doing what we said we were going to do, and the follow up to what we said we were going to do. There has been a huge Historical change in Iraq in the last four year that we have been there. My son was there spanning his two years over 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, andis now slated for a 5th and 6th combat tour there in 2007 and possibly 2008. What he saw was amazing. A sadistic dictator and his regime overthrown, an oppressed society set free, a new government freely elected first time ever there by its people, new schools, new libraries, new hospitals, new infrastructure (water, sewer, eletric and so on), open air markets came back, there is even a night life in the city of Mosul until midnight, there New army being trained, a new police force being trained, their oil industry getting back on track, as well as their farming sector. So much, but so little in the eyes of people like you.

You come from a fast food society, a fix it fast up bringing, when the "world:" doesn't work like that. All you see is what CNN and the liberals tell you or show you, and that is death and distruction. How soon you forget how long the world war tooks (longer) and how soon you forget how long the reconstruction took of those country's (longer), how soon you forget that the battle of Iwo Jima killed 7,000 Marines and 30,000 japanese in 30 days! How soon you forget that the recostruction of Japanes took 10 years. How soon you forget that the battle of Stalingrad killed some 3-4 MILLION soldiers and civilians both from Germany and Russia, how soon you forget that the reconstruction of Russia and Germany took decades, how soon you forget that in one battle in Korea that Chinese lost 17,000 troops in less than 15 minutes trying to overrun an artillery unit, and reconstruction is still taking place in North Korea, where people starve to feed their war machine!

I suggest that you get off the band wagon and start thinking for yourself, or go back to your kool-aide and quit bothering the rest of us!

Everyone of those soldiers were volunteers doing what their country asked. On June 6, 1944 2400 Americans, some who were drafted, died in one day so that you would not have to write your message in German. Those people who died last month were not forced to go. No one made them join the military. They are not numbers so that you can discredit their Commander and Chief who they fought for. I compare the situation in Iraq to spilling milk. I think we made a mistake by going into that country, but we need to clean up the mess, not leave it for the flies to breed in.

Phil c u r a moron
philly had 400 murders last year
baghdad had over 400 murder last weak

3351 u.s. soldiers have been killd in iraq

348 u.s. soldiers have been killed so far in 2007

you people make me sick, it's even disrespectful to the troops. I guess being a soldier in iraq is easier than being a cop in philly in your opinion. I'm guessing most philly cops who have been to both places would disagree with you.

About 60-80 more. The White House is isolated and disconnected from reality.

There's not much we can say or do that will change their minds.

Next month, there will be a lot more people who will be murdered in the mother's womb under the guise of "choice."

FYI......more people were murdered in Philadephia, Pa. (Democrat controlled city) last year than have been killed in the entire Iraq war. Do you think it is time to pull out of Philly?
