It depends on where you live and the experience you have. Over here teenagers get 5 to 6 dollars and hour average 3 hours 2 to 3 times a week. A well experienced babysitter who has had training in first aid and child care by someone like red cross can make 200 a week easily working for various parents.

Depends on how many kids and the age
I would say between $3 and $6 depending
I babysit by 4 and 6 year old sisters for 2 and a half hours and get paid $10

When i used to babysit my neighbours boys about 6 years ago (when i was 17), they were about 7 and 9 years old and i made $8.00 an hour. Then again, they wanted to pay me more than average so they could claim me as a business expense. I think the regular rate was around $5.00 then, so it may be a little bit more now. But i don't think it changed much.

I have four children. We pay our sitters $20.00 for anything under 4 hours. After that, we pay anywhere from 5 to $10.00 and hour, depending on if we are driving the sitter to and from home, if the kids were asleep and if my house is trashed. All of our sitters spend the majority of their time here playing with the kids, so if my house is trashed, i can tell the kids were left to their own devices for too long!

I think $5.00 per hour for 1 child and add $2.00 for each additional.
