There is no concrete evident Leif Erikson and the Vikings ever landed on America, only North America, Nova Scotia to be exact and no one knows if it was Erikson or not. The only evidence found in Canada were 10th Century Viking coins. An archaeologist team searched Maine to find any trace of Vikings living there, but no evidence was found. Once in a while, they still search Maine to find evidence. As far as voyages, the Vikings also went to Iceland, Greenland, and the coast of Normandy, France. The French who live in Normandy are most likely descendents from the Vikings and conquered England in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings. William the Conqueror was the leader of the Normands that ruled England.
