I donated last wednesday during there idol gives back and looked at my bank statement and found that American Idol has taken out the same amount on four seperate occasions twice in the same day!!!! I don't know who to contact or why this has happened. I can't help but wonder if this has happened to anyone else. ( I donated from there web site). Has this happened to anyone and who can I contact? (no numbers were found on there web site)

O.K I finally found the Idol Aid Number (1-800-295-1752) . Apparently they had such a response that there system had a delay and charged people multiple times. I was assured that it would be put back on my card. (I was told that one lady had 36 extra charges!!!!) My situation doesn't look so bad next to hers.

Call your bank. Your bank should be able to look into the transactions. They should have a contact for the company that processed the payments from your account... Hopefully this will help. Have a good day.

sounds like somehow you had been scammed. check into it.
