I'm not even black and I instantly felt bad about the harsh questions about black people. Like some others have said. Racists are dumb, very unattractive, and suffering mentally. If we learn to help one another and not put each other down this world would be a better place. If we learn to turn all that negative energy into something positive we might can get somewhere. They should also remember when have kids on here as young as 13. So it needs to stop at least for the children's sake.

You know the person that asked this question is just an young girl. You guys didn't have to be so cruel.

To Roni- beautiful and truthful answer. Very well said.
I hope your answer and the rest of the positive answers on this page have made the young lady feel better.

To Kenya- We love you and you are a beautiful young girl. Never let no one take your pride.

His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I spoke this at the United Nations, Bob Marley sings it in a song called "war"

"that until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; that until there are no longer any first-class and second-class citizens of any nation; that until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all, without regard to race -- until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion to be pursued but never attained."

It's humanity!!! There is nothing you can do! People will hate. It will destroy us! Doesn't answer the question, but there really is no good answer. There is just bad people.

They don't hate us, they hate themselves. Some people feel so bad about themselves and their place in the world, that they use something as irrelevant as race to make them superior over others. It is the only way for them to boost their hierarchy on the social ladder because they are not doing it with education, wealth, or accomplishments. It is no coincidence that members of the Klu Klux Klan and other Supremacists groups are largely poor rural whites. These are people who, if not for the bigotry towards other races, would be at the bottom of the social ladder. They themselves are the outcasts of society. Did you know that during slavery, most southern whites did not own slaves. Only the wealthy owned slaves, yet the poor whites made up the confederate army and defended slavery, because the Blacks being enslaved kept them higher on the social ladder. The same thing goes for segregation. It was largely the poor, uneducated, and rural whites who fought integration, and because of their numbers and voting power, politicians and business owners supported them. Did you also know that racist individuals tend to have a lower IQ than average? Perhaps this is why they commonly argue that Blacks have low IQs. Most bigots are poor, uneducated, unintelligent, and easy to command .
They know, as well as we do, that skin color or race does not make someone superior or inferior. But racist individuals have a special interest in wanting people to see other races as less than. As long as someone else is at the bottom, they won't have to be. Racism allows them to identity with the ruling class.
Just live your life to its potential, and let those people wallow in their own self hatred.

I do hate when I see a post from some dumbazz white or black person just trying to stir trouble!

Try not to let a handful of rude a**holes get you down. I think a lot of people don't care about anyone's feelings over the internet, because they think they're anonymous. It probably makes them feel big and superior when they put others down.

If that's how they REALLY FEEL, then that's pretty scary. But the thing to remember that hate is born out of fear and ignorance. When I find someone who has hate in their heart, I feel a certain type of pity for them, because I wonder what it must be like to live with that kind of darkness.

We're not all bad. Hang in there.

Some of the white people who answered your question in this thread make me really embarrassed to be white. They would never say such horrible and cruel things to you if they didn't have the Internet to hide behind.
People hate because they are truly IGNORANT. You don't want to waste your time even thinking about losers like that. It makes me feel really bad that other people have treated you that way, and upset you so much. Remember that you're so much better then them, and so above them, in every way. <3

Um personally, I have nothing at all against black people. Thats just stupid. I think peopel put others down to feel superior which again is only the actions of an ignorant human being. However it does bug me how alot of blacks do think theyre the only ones discriminated against. What about the Jews whove been discriminated against countless times? the holocaust? 6 million DIED (and who knows how many more were tortured) what about gypsies?Asians?spaniards? even whites are discriminated against at times. But Again nothing against blacks, Theyre equal to any other race...

I wouldn't take to much stock in the answers you receive here. There will always be racism.. The hooded gentlemen seems to think we are not human or productive. Funny he used the term that we we kept under containment and force to work for the betterment of whites. None of the work benefited us. As far as us having one month to study Black History, there are eleven other months we are taught white history. I really don't think one month is too much to ask for. People hate us because of stereotypes. The few don't represent the many. Hate is caused by fear, ignorance, and being kept sheltered. If you don't experience people or things, you will always be subject to some kind of prejudice. People who disregard other peoples feeling have no moral conscience.

When I first got on here, it hurt me too but most of them that's posting these questions, are hurting themselves...so they want to TRY to make someone else hurt. I read one question talking about hanging little black boys and girls. I think that was one of the questions that put a tear in my eye. But one thing is for sure Every Dog has their day!

So don't worry! God sees everything

And for everyone that's saying get over it....If the shoe was on the other foot. I would like to see how you would feel.

I used to feel sort of superior to people who were racist....
because I do not feel racist at all....and in fact my husband always teases me because I would like to have a (close) friend who is Black. (I have some, but no close ones).

Anyway, one day I realized I am just as bigoted in my own way. If I hear a person say the "N" word ,or speak harshly or unfairly against Blacks, or any other group, I just automatically hate that person.
And I realized that in God's eyes, there was no difference between my blind hatred of racists and other people's irrational hatred for a race of people.

In both cases, people (&I include myself) are just showing their ignorance and lack of compassion, and the need for real love, the kind that can only come from God.
