what do i say one week after my interview?

i had an interview for a bank teller one week ago tomorrow. i want to call back tomorrow since they havent called me back yet. what do i say?

Say "I am just calling to follow up on the Interview that I had last week. Have you made a decision yet on the position?"

Did you send a thank you letter after you interviewed with them? If not, get one out to them right away, and say something like:

Thank you, again, for taking the time to speak with me last week about the XYZposition. It was a pleasure meeting with you to discuss my prospects of working for XYZ Company.

Your interviewing style was thorough and straightforward, and confirmed my good feeling about your department and its relations with its employees. I am even more convinced that XYZ is an organization of which I would be proud to be a part.

I am excited about the opportunity to use my background as an additional benefit to your professional team. Please keep me in mind for this position, or any other appropriate position in the future. I very much look forward to hearing from you soon.

Call and ask if the job has been filled. If it hasn't mention that you have already interviewed and were wondering when the final decision will be made.
