as of july 2006 i have been 14. im into acting singing and that stuff and until now ive had no problems. but, as i am of this age i am expected to sing lower parts, which is a pain in the ***. although i can sing the notes, it sounds like im singing it as an alto would, at the bottom of their range,, and of course there are some notes i cant reach at all.i cant sing the parts an octave higher without going into falsetto, which just makes me sound like a girl.... my current range is about an f# below middle c to about an a above middle c ( without falsetto). it sound really stupid when i sing it as its supposed to be with my voice and its really bothering me. especially when people two years younger than me are already practically baritones...
this is really annoying me as its getting increasingly difficult to get parts and stuff because i havnt got the range. how much longer can it be before it starts to break?
any advice would be great-

Dude. Don't worry about it. I was one of the first in my school to drop down (the only real baritone in my school at 12). It sucks. Enjoy being in the upper ranges.
If you are really into singing, work with your teacher to prepare for the break. It's important to be able to handle it when it does happen.
Oh and it's not like it's a sudden BOOM when your voice breaks, especially if you are going to become a tenor. If it drops later it is usually going to be a gradual drop with it settling in the tenor range.
My buddy, an amazing tenor was virtually a soprano until the summer before his junior year of high school. His speaking voice was fine, but his singing voice didn't work down until later.

Do you know how many tenors would kill to have a range like that? Depending upon your body you may be more tenor than bass. But, in time your voice will break and then you'll be having problems controlling it until it decides where it wants to go.
Don't worry about.

Not everyone has the vocal range to be able to sing anything.
Match your music to what your voice can handle.
I lost my range after my voice broke, and figured out decades later, it was due excess phlegm accumulating on my vocal cords. Need to spray something to dissolve that and flush it.
