The Honda Pilot is the "best in class" vehicle for the midsize neo-luxury utility vehicles. I worked at Honda dealer service dept for the 4 years since the Pilot introduction and there has never been a more trouble-free vehicle when it first came out and it has gotten better over the model years. It really is over-engineered--the brakes and tires for example last twice as long as those on any other Honda. The Pilot has never had any product problems. Just follow the care and feeding instructions in the owners manual and it will last forever. I own 4 honda cars now; my next Honda will be the Pilot.

i think it's a great car...had it about a month and have had only a minor complaint that was handled quickly and that could've happened with any car. (i.e. a small squeak in the door, it just needed some lube) for the 2008, they're not changing the body style but they will have many more options on the trim levels. like the value package, special edition, etc. good on gas mileage for an suv. if you don't need 4x4, get the 2x4, it is even better! the best part is, the kids love the dvd and we we're able to fit 7 full sized adults in the car comfortably (i was totally worried that we wouldn't all fit). 8 won't fit, but a few kids and some adults will. all the rear seats have adjustments for the reclining position and the middle row is on a track so that it can give more space to the third row. i am probably bias since i work for honda, but like honda guru said it has been voted "best" in a lot of things. the number one for me is that it should hold it's value well in 3 years.
