I am not sure what the front looks like but the back has a wheat plant that is almost full circle. It is gold or at least gold color.

would anyone know what this is and how much it could go for?

Mexico doesn't use half dollars. If it is Mexican, it honestly is probably not worth a whole lot, even at that age. Age doesnt always make a coin valuable. We belong to a coin-collecting club. I have coins that are from the 1400's, but are not worth more than a dollar. Just depends on where they are from, age, of course, sometimes, condition, and rarity. You don't have enough info to really make an observation. Sorry!

They are still cool to have though! :P

Mexican coins back then were in Centavos or Pesos. None had a wheat plant on them. In order to help, you must describe both sides or send a scan or photo. With just the little info you gave how do you know it is from Mexico?? Sorry no one can help without more info.
