90% of DVD drives out there are NOT compatible with DVD-RAM. Look on the face plate. If it doesn't say DVD-RAM, it cannot read DVD-RAM at all.

Dvd Ram?
Are you sure about that?
If you have ram disks,check your dvd player specs 'cos that could well be the problem.

You computer doesn't like you. I would suggest beating it with a hard rubber mallet and then throwing it out the window. If it doesn't work, use a defibrillator to jump start. Still nothing? Give it two aspirin and put it in your oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
