I have a pretty severe case of asthma myself. While pregnant, I only was authorized to use the rescue inhaler. I had to quit singulair and advair. Suprisingly, my asthma has improved a lot from being pregnant and breastfeeding. Ask you doctor as soon as possible if your current meds are safe. Of course you need your inhaler to save your life and babies if you get an attack. If you cut off your other meds, keep an inhaler on hand at all times in set locations because it can cause it to flair up as well. Take care and good luck!
