Well it doesn't sound like it would be the baby moving yet. It wouldn't be strong enough. The flutters could be any number of things. If you have the signs of pregnancy and you suspect you may be pregnant then you need to take a test. It does matter, whether you would be happy with the results or not, because if you are pregnant you need to go see your doctor to get put on prenatal vitamins. Just take a test, but don't get your hopes up so that you don't get let down. Good luck.

You would have to be pretty far along to feel the flutters in your stomach. But us women...we are pretty intuitive. If you think you may be pregnant....then there is a chance you might be. You know your body well and can tell when something different. I would take the test! I know if its negative how disappointing that is (been there before), but at least it will ease your mind and you'll know for sure once and for all.

The only 'flutters' felt due to pregnancy that I have felt (I had my 3rd child at 43 a year ago) where in my 5th month from my baby being big enough to feel.
You need to be thinking of your health and the health and well being of a possible baby and NOT of being disappointed! Imagine how disappointed you would be if you did nothing at all(no doctors visit, no pre natal care, etc.) and this action caused problems later!
Are you trying to get pregnant? If you are old enough for menopause, you need a check up for this if you are thinking you are experiencing this change.
A woman who wants a baby should be mature and responsible in her thinking.

When my mother felt strange and was having missed periods, the doctor told her (without having seen her) that she could be pregnant but it was actually just changes in hormones when it came down to it that made her feel pregnant.
I think you should take a pregnancy test because it is better to know and treat your body accordingly then to worry about being disappointed or not. You are either going to be disappointed or happy, and why put it off? If it is gas and not pregnancy you could also be heading off a problem if you get checked out as well.

Well, if you've had a child before, you know what
it feels like when the kid kicks.
However, with the change in hormones, your
digestive process may also shift around abit and that
can cause bubbling etc. in your intestines.
So ... it *MIGHT* be an indicator that you are pregnant,
but it could also be an indicator of lots of other things.
Have you tested yourself for pregnancy? Do you have
some other reason to believe that this may be the case?
Although pregnancy is not uncommon, considering
all the things it might be that are MORE common, this
is a case of "horses and zebras". (If you hear hoofbeats,
its probably horses, not zebras. Could be zebras, but
its unlikely...)
It may be that you have eaten things that disagree
with you.

well you wouldnt feel the "fluttering" until at least like 16 weeks i think. im 20 weeks and just started to feel it a month ago or something. i think you should go to the dr or something because you want to be sure to take vitamins and all that, so you and your baby stay healthy. to me, it doesnt really feel fluttery but ive heard it described as swallowing a fish or butterflies. and..you'll be diappointed no matter what at some point if youre not pregnant, you should just take the test now and really know.

Just before my sister in law found out she was prego, she kept saying she felt flutters in her stomach, but she didnt think she was prego. I told her she was, and later that week, she called and said she was. So you just might be prego. You should really take a test to make sure, that way you can be prepared. Good Luck! :)

Yes, you will have flutters if you are pregnant AND if you even think you are pregnant. I had flutters like that after having my tubes tied because I thought I was pregnant
