I had a "pop quiz" on SS. I didn't havea a chance to fully study because I was sick andn I couldn't bring home my book. My parents are gonna be REALLY MAD when they see it. What would you do?
And any suggestions on what to do to get in least trouble.!!!

tell them the truth that you were sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it was hard for you to study 100%!

Why are they going to see it? My mom never saw any of my schoolwork, only my report cards because she was supposed to sign them. Even that stopped after 8th grade. If I were you, I'd just throw it away and never mention it. BUT, if for some reason you are FORCED to show your parents every piece of schoolwork you have, tell the 'truth' about how you couldn't bring home the book. If they get mad, there's nothing you can do about it. Just apologize and say whatever you have to say to calm them down. It's just one quiz, it's not the end of the world and none of this is going to matter anymore once you graduate from school. As long as you do OK on everything else, it's not like this will keep you out of college or anything.

Own up to your own accountability for keeping up with your assignments and what to study. I don't buy you were sick and "couldn't" bring your book home. That's crap and you know it. The only way to stay out of trouble is to grow up and do what you know you have to do: study and take care of your own business.

I would talk to the teacher and ask if you can do any extra credit or retake the test for partial credit.
