Is there a way to predict the time of Moonrise off Cancun, Mexico each day July 14-28, 2007? I realize that the moon sometimes rises in the daylight, but which nights will have a romantic moon after sundown?? I'm not gonna wait til 3am!

You can look it up in the source. The lower section is for places outside the U.S., but for those you will need to supply the longitude, latitude and time zone. There are links in the source to help you get that information. I think Cancun is at 21 degrees 10 minutes north and 86 degrees 50 minutes west and time zone 6 hour west of GMT. If I got that right, then July 15 moonrise is 6:14. That is 6:14 AM; it is a 24 hour clock, or military time. Note that the Sun rises one hour earlier that day and the Moon is a very thin crescent, so there is no way you will be able to see it. You can check the other days yourself.

On the 14th July the Moon will rise at 4:11 and will set at 18:02 so no Moon for you during the early evening!

It will rise later everyday so it will set later as well so that by the 20th it will only set at 21:32 so you will have a Moon during the evenings but not a very bright one.
By the 28th it will only set at 2:44 so you will have a Moon during the evenings. As it will be full Moon on the 29th July you will also have a bright Moon the nights before the 29th.
So from around the 23rd you will have a nice bright Moon during the evenings.

On July 14, the moon will be a new moon so it can hardly be seen. You best night would be the ones closer to July 28 where it will be close to a full moon and it will rise around sunset.

The moon will be going from a crescent at the beginning of the first week, to a gibbous moon at the end. It will be above the horizon at sunset every night. The second week, it will go from gibbous waxing through full moon, to gibbous waning. By the end of the second week it will rise a couple of hours after sunset.
