I am 59 years old and play trumpet. I played in school for 9 years. I was in all of the high school bands (won't bore you and name them all) went to solo, duet, trio, quartet, quintet and sextect competitions never any lower than 2nd place. I since have played in church. I got my oldest granddaughter interested in playing and now she is better than I was. She takes private and school lessons. So, I love to play Arpeggios and I love to triple tongue in music. Now, you must tell me what you like about it all. I play a very m e a n trumpet. I played first chair trumpet almost all through my school band time. I love it!

No... I play the Oboe. I'm pretty good, been playing since 4th grade, and I'm almost 26 now. I don't like trumpets. I can never hear myself over them!

No, but my brother did when he was in high school. My sister played cleranet first, then saxophone. I ATTEMPTED cleranet, but couldn't get it. (I'm still trying to learn SOME kind of instrument. Aside from Guitar Hero II --which has MY kind of guitar as a controller ^_^-- I have a set of panpipes. Don't do TOO bad on them...)
My niece (my sister's daughter) plays flute.
