Umm, the terrorists call Iraq the central front in the war, do you know better than they do?
Apparently you know more than military professionals who have been dealing with this their entire careers. Since you have all the answers and are so brilliant, why are you posting questions?
America will be hit with a nuke and people like you still will not get it. You'll blame Bush and the Iraq war. Meanwhile, the attacks started long before and are aimed at countries that opposed the war.

Sigh.....
I'm not a US citizen, My dad is a diplomat for Taiwan ROC,
My view on the war is ......
The US has no right to interfere or destroy other countries for no good reason, I don't think that greedy is a good reason. Reason US attacked Iraq was because the president there would not listen to the US. Where is the nuke? Where is the evidence? No offense, but the US is pretty much hated though out the world. I don't think that the Founding Father would be happy to see that the country which they would die for turn into a country which basically went against everything they ever wanted. I think that 9/11 was one of the worst events, why should innocent people in the US die for stupid mistakes of their government? Dying in war serving for your country for what is RIGHT is one thing. Dying for your country's stupid mistakes is another.
But then again, you have to look on both sides of the issue, I don't want to ague for the other side, both who voted for the president? I can't. Who pride was getting lost when 9/11? People of the US. Why won't Bush admit his mistakes? How would that make some people feel about their government?
What would YOU do if you were the president?
Nothing in life is perfect, but it is very pathetic that no one learns anything in history class. Please tell me, what is the point of learning history if no one learns anything from it? Vietem War? World War 1? World War 2? What people in the world CAN do, is hope that the next generation will be better and that politics will not be so corrupted/ dark.

You sound a lot like Dingy Harry Reid (Dumocraper Senate majority leader) who declared victory for the terrorists when he stated that we are losing the war in Iraq.
Dingy Harry is not only a liar, but he is also a traitor......and you have sadly chosen to buy into his lunatic leftist nonsense.
According to a lot of people who have actually been in Iraq, (many of whom believe they have a moral obligation to always tell the truth because of their Judeo-Christian worldview) there is evidence that indicates that there has been a lot of progress in the Iraq war. Not only did we free millions of people from a brutal dictator, but also, we have captured a lot of Islamic-facist terrorists in the process.
I will wisely choose to believe them over you and Dingy Harry any day!

The first 9/11 didn't help much, I doubt a second one will get the point across. It must be terribly frustrating for the jihadis: they keep attacking and attacking, trying just as hard as they can to really hurt American and get those damned lazy Americans to notice them and acede to thier demans, and all the Americans do is try to make political points over it ("9/11 is your fault! no it's yours!"), overthrow the Taliban and invade Iraq.

Well, if something like that happened while we were still in Iraq - the Bush administration difinitely could not say they were winning the war on terror.
I also agree that there are plenty of terrorists here that did not leave after 9/11. THey are waiting, watching and planning. When we get the majority of our military deployed and stretched way too thin and overworked due to long deployments, that is when they will hit us.

Do you not realize that we also don't want Iran to take over Iraq who will then go on and collect the rest of the Middle East including our freinds Israel which will result in an all out WW3 because Russia and China and the USA will all be dragged in as we will come to Israels rescue otherwise they will come against us?

The rates of terrorism have gone up very much and the fact that we are over there still makes me angry. We don't need to impose ourselves into other countries and create new enemies. We are only there for the sake of our economy to create more funds for our government officials. The oil that they have is a reason why we won't let them go until we kick out all the people that may decide that we think can keep us away from our oil. America GROW UP!

Exactly!!
The best way to protect America is to protect our own borders! Not the borders of Iraq.
I'm sorry, I would like to see a happy end to the Iraq war, but I just don't think it is possible anymore.

If Mr. Silverstein has another chance to make $7 billion out of insurance, you can bet another 9/11 will happen.

ah! yes! thank you! another intelligent person on here!
it's horrible to ask if we need another 9/11, but you know what, to be honest i think we do...the war in Iraq is doing nothing except draining our resources and making everyone hate us even more than they do.
