I assume you have miss spelled Watt, as in James Watt.
Well, of course this might mean you have doubts about Steam power. But I can assure you steam power is a sure bet, as any good boilerman can tell you..
In fact it is such a sure thing that indeed it doesn't have a chance, as that implies a gamble that just isn't there; bet on James Watt and you simply cannot loose so where is the chance in that?
Peter Gabriel did indeed sing true with his Steam song. (But he was a bit selfish - I mean does he really deserve steam?)
So, you don't have to take my word for it. Peter, despite his selfish bent did lend his small share of credence to the "movement".
Mind you there are some things about steam one simply should not gamble with. Boilers do blow up, if baddly treated of engineered poorly. Always buy from reputable people and never let your boiler run dry. And never put soap in a boiler; they don't like that.
