Well I'll lay it down for you.
You are incorrect. Your answer is sexist, women deserve equal choices.
I know of women who have been almost as violent as the film you mention.
You cannot correctly generalize women like that.

All of the violence is fake, my friend. They are nothing more but tricks of the trade, be it makeup, CGI or some other type of special effects. They can actually be quite impressive. Anyone who can't handle it, be they male or female, shouldn't watch those movies. All others can watch whatever they like. I actually have a few violent movies in my collection that I really enjoy. You should not lump all women into this category. Only some women AND some men should be in this category.

It's kinda cute that you think that way but it's very old fashioned. Women don't want to be hid away, we are a part of the world and it is a violent world. We need to be prepared so when tragedy strikes we don't faint at the first sight of blood. BTW, I love violent gory movies and I am still one of the nicest women you'll ever meet. Loosen up a bit. I'm not saying to get rid of your values, just perhaps try not to be so protective. It's a bit of a turn off. Good luck!

I don't think anyone should be able to watch this movie.........because really, it's a monumentally stupid film.
But to suggest that women are less capable of mentally handling traumatic images is utterly ridiculous. There is no difference between the ability of men and women to be mentally resilient and cope with seeing a gory movie (however disgustingly stupid it may be.)
If anything, graphic gore should not be so celebrated. I don't understand the whole concept of "desensitizing" oneself to violence, whether man or woman or child.

Yes sweetheart.
That is a horrible movie for the delicate minds of us women and I would not want to be traumatized by such violence as displayed in "Pathfinder".
I am so thankful we have you here to protect us sir!
XOXO

While I've never seen Pathfinder, I do watch my share of semi-violent movies. I will never watch a horror movie or a movie that deals with satanic themes. (Unless you consider Harry Potter satanic)...If my fiance and I are flipping through the channels and we see something like a horror flick, I'll ASK him to change it. I don't want to watch that junk.
Now as for movies like S.W.A.T., Mr and Mrs Smith, and any other action flick-I love watching them!

your total concern for your woman is touching. some women do not have a man such as you to look out for them. In all honesty, and not to sound feminist, you would be surprised what a woman's mind can handle. I try to stay away from violent movies because they are just not my cup of tea. i am gonna give you a star for all of your questions because they are very insightful!

Next you'll be saying women shouldn't vote or go to work. GET A FRIGGING GRIP!!!! It's 2007 AD, not BC. I know some women (not a lot) who love action films and they don't get traumatised by them.
