The denail about Iraq is the Bush denial that his policies there are making any difference.
The Liberal (or, in my case, moderate) plan for Iraq is to implement many of the recommendations of the Baker Study Group, not this open-ended expenditure of American lives on what was a failed strategy from the beginning, to combat an enemy that didn't threaten us, to destroy weapons that weren't there.
And if you conservatives are still caught up in the fallacy that there is some connection between Iraq and 9/11, please recall that even your beloved President Bush has said that there is no solid evidence of that. If Bush is such a soldier and 9/11 such a concrete issue and Bin Laden the leader of the mulsim groups that have declared war on us, WHY HASN'T BUSH BROUGHT HIM IN?
Why, pray tell, is the 9/11 mastermind still on the loose half a decade later? Bush thinks capturing Saddam was the key to ending terrorism: talk about denial!

The latter, certainly - it's not like the conservatives have exactly harped on the point that the 'Umma' (muslim world) is making war on the US. 9/11 denial, though, is a bit much. It's OK for chunks of the Dems base to be certifieable conspiracty nutjobs, but it's not really a viable 'plank' for the party platform.
The lib plan for victory, though, is all about victory over the neo-cons. That's the real enemy.

Muslim is a religion, not a country you can declair war on.
911 was a terrorist attack by a man that at one point was used by the United States during the cold war.
Terror is a fairly new phenomina and it will only get worse as the hatred for America spreads. You can thank Bush and the Christian right wing for that.

Not sure which victory plan you are talking about.....pretty sure though that it places the onus on Bin Laden for 911 and not on Saddam and also acknowledges that not all Muslims are the same....just as not all Christians, Jews, Hindus, etc.
Try some critical thinking and steer away from black and white/either or scenarios. It's amazing what can open up for you if you do.

Liberal plan for victory? I'm still waiting to hear what plan the idiot in the white house has for victory. He is the one that got us into this aweful mess. Are you trying to blame liberals now for the failed policies of the Bush adminsitration?

PBS did a great special revealing how Osama bin Laden actually tricked Bush into pushing some Muslims into going to war with Americans. He did that by alienating them, killing their families and mistreating them in general.
I'm a liberal and I don't deny 9/11...but I don't think 9/11 is an excuse to kill thousands of people.

no. It involves getting us out of Iraq so we can take on the task of hunting down Muslim extremists and destroying Al Qaeda infrastructures. 9/11 is very well remembered and we want action taken against those responsible.

What possible benefit do you get by making up things like these two "facts" you have presented? Really, no matter how many times you say things, it won't make them come true! A typical Republican tactic, and I use the word "tactic" loosely, because it's just so imbecile.

Muslims have NOT declared war on us. A fanatical group of Muslims attacked the US on 9/11. I remember 9/11 very clearly. I remember consoling my sister who couldn't stop crying. My sister, by the way, is a Muslim so take your racism and shove it.
