Too many times to count.
A couple of years ago, the doctor here in Reno almost killed me, no joke. He overdosed a thyroid med, put me into heart failure and would not biopsy what turned out to be cancer. I went to the doc in Anaheim to be treated.
I checked with a lawyer and because he didn't actually kill me, there was nothing I could do in the state of Nevada.

This is too bad to tell. So let's say that after he asked me to do something that would 'help me', I panicked and ran to the hall in one of those open gowns and found the restroom door. When I came back in the room for my clothes he was gone. I didn't do a damn thing about it. I didn't tell anyone else either. But a year later I read he had been caught and sued and forced to retire. And that dirty old man must have been 105 yrs old if he was a day. I'm so glad no one here knows who I am.

Yes. It was with my gyno. She had a really BAD shake in her hands.... Needless to say (and this might be tmi) I felt like I could use a little counseling after my exam.
I quit going to the doctor for 3 years. When I finally went back to my new one I almost had a breakdown when the time came. She was very sympathetic though and very apologetic for the other maniac.

Mine was at my gynecologist's office. His office works closely with the local teaching hospital. I've never minded seeing interns before this particular visit. There was a male intern who was to do my internal exam. The way he pushed on my belly hurt so much. A few hours later, I was still in pain. I called the office to explain what was going on and that this particular may need some closer supervision. They were concerned enough that they wanted me to call back after lunch time if I was still in pain. Thankfully, the pain was gone by then. I don't know whatever happened with that intern.

I have been fortunate enough not to have had a bad experience yet but my mom hasn't been so lucky. She is suffering from sciatica and has to go to her doctor's every couple of months to get a shot to ease the pain. Last week, she found out he's been injecting her w/ different types of medications and has no clue what he originally gave her. She's looking for a new doctor now.

My gynogologist left the door cracked once in a long appointment. As soon as I could walk I stormed out of there making sure every patient heard what my doctor did. Later I had my files transferred to another doctor.

Yes, with a General Surgeon and a very simple procedure to repair a hernia. I had a second surgery, years after the first one, I was afraid to have another bad experience.
