ADVANTAGES OF BEING INTACT:
--Circumcision cuts WAY down on sexual enjoyment for the man due to loss of nerve-rich foreskin. A new study proves conclusively, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that circumcision decreases sensitivity for the man. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x
--Getting cut causes the glans (head) to develop a keratinized layer to protect from rubbing on clothing, further cutting sensation. Many cut men are unable to ejaculate during intercourse and have to finish by hand. Intact men can go all the way.
--nine out of ten women who have had both prefer intact penises: http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html That's really pretty definitive.
--foreskin makes masturbation more fun - and better for your partner to play with.
--a cut penis looks kind of sad with that scar where the foreskin belongs. Uncut is much hotter looking.
--Circumcision has a slight chance of complications, like any surgery. During the 6-8 week recovery period you will be told not to get erections. Just try. And it will hurt once the anesthestia wears off. Some guys say it's not that bad, while others say the pain is the worst they've ever experienced.
ADVANTAGES OF BEING CUT: Circumcision has no advantages that are not fictional or only relevant in a few areas
--You can be just as clean if you are uncircumcised. Wash. It's THAT simple. Even if you're cut, you still need to wash.
-- If you're sleeping around, you need to use condoms regardless or you will get diseases.
--Recent reports from Africa say that circumcision reduces the risk of AIDS from unprotected hetrosexual activity. This has little relevance to areas of the world where condoms are cheap, readily available, and culturally acceptable. The US has the highest circumcision rate in the developed world and also the highest AIDS rate in that group. http://www.circinfo.org/hiv.html

Unless you're having problems with your foreskin (and if you are, feel free to contact me; there are easy fixes), I doubt you'd find 'improvement' in sex by getting circumcised. If you had serious problems, however, then you most likely would. (do you understand the logic?)
The only 'disadvantage' of being uncircumcised is that you have to slide it back and rub the head when you shower, but really, that only takes less than 10 seconds and feels good. I don't find it anything to worry about.
The foreskin slides up and down during sex to stimulate the head, and it's moist so lubes aren't generally needed (of course you can use them if you'd like).
New studies published in the British Journal of Urology have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity and pleasure in the long run (since the head eventually gets used to being rubbed against constantly by your clothes), and the other study found that over 60% of guys found masturbation more difficult after getting circumcised. Also, circumcision rates in the USA have gone down a lot (as low as 14% in some states) and guys in Europe, Latin America, and Asia aren't circumcised.
I'd type up more, but other answers on here did good already. You can always check out all the sources on this page I made:

Ultimately it's your choice; that's one of the major advantages of being uncircumcised.

Many adult men who were circumcised at children are undergoing surgery and other procedures to grow a 'new' foreskin. The glands end of the penis loses a lot of sensitive if it is exposed all the time. Plus one third of all the nerves in a penis are in the foreskin.
Think of it like cutting an entire breast off a woman, and both of her nipples. It's that much skin, and nerve endings. It's the way nature made everyone.
Also, the HIV/AIDS thing show the same lowering of spreading of the disease if we give people Soap! (Dr. Dean Edlel). Probably they have less sex cause it just doesn't feel as good.
Unless you have some serious problem, consider yourself lucky your aren't an amputee.

Well, seriously dude i dont think you should get circumsized. When you get circumsized, you will lose sensitivity. It will be less pleasure during sex. Trust me. I know lots of people who got circumsized adults, and after they regreted it so much.I remember one that said that from a scale 1-10, circumsized the pleasure was about 3,and uncircumsized he got 11. So if your uncut, stay with it.Its better, sex wont be better without the foreskin, its all myths.Cheers!

First off, Bravo to those who replied!!! Perhaps the dark days of unquestioning blind faith in circumcision are coming to an end!!
Obviously you have your answer: YES, there are significant risks!
Your sexual perception and pleasure will be greatly decreased. Unfortunately most men circumcised as adults, don't realize the mistake they made for some time, often years. Men don't like to admit they made such a mistake with their penises. This suffering in silence, leads others to believe this indicates satisfaction, it does not.
You are lucky to have been spared this senseless mutilation as a baby.
It is your body, and your choice. If you do choose to have a circumcision, please, please please! Do your research. Do not make a uninformed choice, and do not let others make the choice for you.
Your not stupid. You are wise to ask questions and find out everything you can.
Seek truth, knowledge is power.

You're stupid dude. The penis is more sensitive uncircumsized. ONly africans are doing adult circumcision since some evidence (rather weak IMO) shows that uncircumsized males get less HIV/AIDs. But it's better if you use a condom, which is much more effective at preventing AIDS than circumcision is.

Well being a Sexuality major, most women (according to our tests and surveys at my school, AND national sexuality surveys) found sex with an uncircumcised man to be more pleasurable. The foreskin acts as a lubricant and gives the woman a very pleasurable "smooth gliding" sensation. However, women prefer men who are uncircumsized to clean it regularily because it's an even bigger turn-off if it's unclean (such as men vs. women with unfresh women).

I agree with F Baggins. If your wife is strongly against it and you can compromise then don't do it. And if you want to follow a tradition of when he comes of age then you can wait to ask him then. I'm all about circumsicion. But after my husband told me he wouldn't have done it for our son if I didn't wanted it is making me question my decision now. But too late. I circumcised him and can't undo it. Note: I thought my Athiest marriage to a Catholic was crazy, yours is crazier lol. I love it.
