Both of these players has been considered great players but always had a sucky team. Who do you guys think is better?

Think back to their NCAA days, who was better then. Think about the NBA now. If both were free agents who would you choose.
Baron Davis plain and simple. The health factor aside, Baron is the only player to tear up his knee and play like it never even happened at all. He is a true competitor, with a better shot, from short to long range, he is a better ball handler, stronger, he is cluth, and he also has not been a CANCER to any of the teams he has been on.
Sephon is selfish and overrated. He is a backup at best. If both were on your team who would you start?

Marbury has had a more consistent career, because Davis has been so incredibly injury prone. However, when he is at full strength, Baron is the better player. You right, for the most part, neither guy has played on very good teams. Davis is getting his big opportunity right now, and at least so far, he's making the most of it.

Not even close....Baron Davis. Baron's proven he can make a whole team better (GSW and Hornets). And as for Marbury, he is a more durable player....and that's were the comparison ends.

baron davis no doubt. he is leading his team to beat the #1 team in the nba. stephon is a ball hog and a me-first player. he may have helped a lot of people out with his $9.98 and $15.98 sneakers, but it matters on the court and that is where baron davis is better.

Are you kidding? Starberry can't get close to keeping up with Baron Davis when he is healthy. If Baron wasn't hobbled half the year all the time he would have been a huge star in the league.
