Nope. I sure wouldn't. It also takes into consideration your cpu speed and other factors. RAM alone doesn't tell the whole story. You could have 4 GB of RAM and if your cpu is 1.0 GHz it will run like crap, for example.

this is going to run, yet very slowly. My pc got here with 512 and vista consumer-friendly, which became kinda ok. I upgraded my OS to homestead top rate and the pc almost got here to an entire end. I upgraded my RAM to a million.5 Gb and it incredibly is superb. the undertaking with Vista is that it takes a minimum of two times as plenty RAM to run as XP yet whilst it has it incredibly is super.

No, Vista needs 512MB just to run itself.

Forget Vista. Get Ubuntu.

Can it run on 512 or RAM? Yes. Will you enjoy the experiance? NO! I recommend atleast 1Gb of RAM. Also note that the pretty Aero interface won't run without 1Gb of RAM.

I have seen users with 1GB of memory moaning about speed, so I wouldnt recommend it unless you like slow computing
