My dad did when I was 10.
I cried.

Never. I was brought up to believe foul language is unladylike and demeaning. Just saying "hell" was enough to have my bottom whacked. Even when I fought with my husband, a serious milquetoast, I never cussed.

With my Gypsy husbands, NEVER. They were elegant educated men and the worst I ever heard was "Ah cha!". I know I would have been reprimanded if I had. But they taught me many good gypsy cusses but, not a bad word in the lot. (My favourite translates into English as "May all your goats give curdled milk!")

At one stage when I was young I got into foul language and then, one morning I HEARD myself and how others heard me. I must have used the F word 10 times in one sentence! I was ashamed and immediately set to work correcting that. I hung with bikers in those days so what can I say?

As a person with a seriously good vocabulary I realized I was wasting my verbal skills so I got creative with my cussing and came up with all sorts of fun alternatives. "Oh furkytoodle" "Peachfuzz" was quite effective in venting too. LOL.

Anyhow... other than an automatic "Oh, shyt!" when the pitcher of grape juice falls out of the fridge and hurts my toe, or such, foul language is just wrong.

I find it a turn off with men also. What is good for the goose is good for the gander in many things, and language is one of them. If he cusses with the guys, fine, but NOT in my vicinity because it is completely disrespectful.

So, soap washed mouth? Naw.

But I must confess, Sir, that I have burned a pot roast before!

No sir.
I wouldn't dare say any kind of foul language (and I'm sorry if I ever have).
If I did use foul language and my mouth was washed out with soap I would not resist and after I would thank my man for disciplining me so I would never do it again.
XOXO

You've gotta be kidding me... "if he tried that with ME...." LOL.... as if any of you could beat your man. The only way you could beat him is in a race to the fridge!

You use language that's inappropriate, and you should get your mouth washed out with soap, and then a good over the knee bare as s spanking for thinking you could! You're probably wishing you had a man that would lay down some boundries instead of being a Casper Milquetoast that you have no respect for. A Man, by virtue of his character and leadership is the head of the household. If you don't trust his judgement and submit to his authority, then you are worthless in the eyes of Man.

I have had it done.

I love these women! They want the nicer car and to be treated like queens but they don't want to have all the dowfalls of a loving husband that wants the best out of them.

My father tried when I was a kid. I don't remember what I said, but I do remember throwing up on him. That was the last time he tried that!
