Auto Zone won't help much on something like that. Look in your local phone directory for a used parts specialist who specializes in older cars; there should be at least one or two in your area. Also, look online...there's a place at www.1Aauto.com that carries the part you want...it's new, and it's $89.95 (+$40 shipping) and can ship it to you within 2-3 days. Mustangpartshouse.com is another place to try. You may even find someplace else cheaper. Also, try ebay Motors. Hope this helped you out.

Are you looking for used or OEM/new? When my father and I restored my '66 mustang back in mid 90s, we ordered most of the parts from a mail order place called "Dallas Mustangs". It all depends on whether you're wanting to buy used stuff from a salvage yard or an OEM(new) part. Problem with some of the OEM stuff is the quality of metal isn't as good in some cases. It may be different now and may not even apply in your case.

You may have to order it rather then pick it up
J.C. Whitney has them...shipping should be free and there is no tax.
or perhaps you will get lucky on eBay.
