It just seems that in our world today, even in our small circle, no one trusts in anyone or anything anymore.

Being trusted and having those you can trust is a stablizing need we must have for our society to survive.When there is no trust acute massive depression follows closely and crumbling of the society is the end result.

Yes Rob, Children still trust, until they get aware enough to begin to understand the media and begin to attend school. Then the home influence, as you know, is greatly diminished.

It depends what you mean by trust. I am not nervous to walk outside my house and go to the store. I would not trust somebody I didn't know to look after a 20 for me, or to go into their house. I guess that's really changed since when my grandma was around though.

Trust is hard to build and easy to destroy. I find I trust less and less these days. I'm not sure exactly why. I guess I just grow more jaded as I get older, and I've been burned too many times.

I guess it would depend on the person. I, personally, think that I have a few close friends whom I can trust. You just have to really get to know people first and have a good sense of character...

I trust people to act according to their nature as I observe it through their character. The degree of trust that I extend is according to their nature and character. I extend it in degrees, and often trust a stranger more so than some people I know personally.
As to whether or not someone will trust me personally, I let my actions, my nature, and my character speak for it's self. If they decide to trust me, I'm worthy of that trust to the best of my ability. If they decide not to trust me, it reflects more on who they are than who I am. Capice'?

only stupid people trust. Everyone lies, everyone are liars. It would be great to be able to trust in someone or something, but in this new world trust = getting screwed.
