Traveler IS a dick i reported him for you anyways my answer is based on personal experience I'm 16 to0 and this may shock you but i started wearing thongs at 11 because of pantylines and when i brought it up to my mom that i was uncomfortable with my pantylines she just took me shopping! same with bra's usually you just can tell your mom and it'll work out say something like this :Hey Mom, you know how we were talking awhile ago about getting me a bra from Victoria's Secret well i was wondering if we could do that soon and while were their do you think we could look at some underwear? some of my pants show my pantylines through and it's kin of uncomfortable.
Good luck i hope this helped!

If she said to order a bra, you should get a catalog from several places and pick out a few (you really should have at least 4, and 7+ would be better). Then try to catch your mom on a good day and casually mention you have found some bras and have made your choice. If she doesn't handle it well or she still doesn't remember, give her another day or two, and mention it again.
Parents have so many things vying for their attention, so sometimes their children aren't always high on the things I have to take care of list.
You could always get them yourself if you have the funds to do so (just one or two), since she said you could get one, but it is always best to get your parents okay--whether it's your cash or not.
Sorry, I am in a minority as far as teen girls and thongs. I don't think younger teens (under 18) should wear them. Panty line or not. So I hope someone else gives you the assistance you are looking for on that issue.
Hope I helped (to some degree)!

Hey, this is how u can actually start a relationship w/ ur mom! Just tell her that you need her to buy new bras because yours are getting uncomfortable the next time you guys go to Walmart or whatever. Also thongs sound really uncomfortable. There is something other that doesn't show undie lines and are comfortable : they are called "boyshorts" which are actually comfortable. My mom had to beg me for her to buy me some until I finally said ok.(I'm 13) I thought they were gonna be uncomfortable, but no! They are he same thing as real undies!

Just tell her you need to go to the store. I know talking about that kind of stuff with your Mom can be akward, I'm the same way...and I'm 23! But really, your Mom understands I'm sure. Maybe once you're in the bra department, go over to the thong section and tell her you want to try wearing some. Just explain to her that you hate panty lines. The only reason she might protest the thong thing is because some girls have it hanging out of their pants and the guys your age are really immature and will be distracted. Just make sure you don't do that, it's really trashy looking. Maybe start with just one thong to get used to it. Good luck!

If you are almost 16 you're old enough to be wearing the underwear you want to wear. Don't talk about it with your mom. Get them from the store by yourself, they're not expensive. About the bras, ask your mom because VIctorias Secret is expensive. You shouldn't be embarrassed, because obviously you both brought up the subject. Maybe she just forgot. And Victorias Secret does have really good bras!

Talk with your mom about it. If your mom is not cool with the thongs, than find out why and be open to her reasings. She can shock you with a yes answer, or it could be no, Never go behind her back or aganst her wishes. There are pro's and cons to the tong. Pro: you kinda get rid of panty lines, they make you feel older, and thongs seem to be cool, but thats not a good reason! Cons: your butt cheekes are all out there for all these perverts to see, they dont truly get rid of lines because everyone will know your wearing a thong. The better solition might be in the color of the underwear. you can wear white underware when in white pants, they have plnty of colors that could help out with the panty line including nude and tan white. Black underwear with black pants.
well good luck witheverything and God bless you and your family with good health and peace of mind!

What would be best if your mom gave you the money to buy your own undies. As to bras being uncomfortable, you probably should have the saleslady measure you as often most women really don't know their actual bra size. You could also try a sportsbra or a cammie with a built-in bra.
As to thongs - you can get them almost anywhere. Frederick's of Hollywood is one good source and they are very reasonably priced.

Don't be embrassed or anything everyone goes through it once and a while...
Just casually bring it up and say, 'O yeah mum did you manage to order the things for me'
If you feel uncomfertble telling her that you want to wear a thong, Go on the website with her if they have one, Or go through a cataloge, See what ones you like and point them out to her.
Good luck!

just figure out your bra size and go on victorias secret..if you havent wore underwire before, buy one of those and start wearing it all the time..yeah its gonna be super uncomfortable but you'll get used to it..I didnt start wearing underwire till i was 16 cause i HATED it, but now its all i wear....and for the thong situation, I was too embarassed to ask my mom to get me them when i was younger, so I just bought them w/o telling her haha....or just tell her the truth, be like "MOM, I KNOW you think thongs are stupid, but i hate panty lines and there cute!" or something, idk moms always think thongs are for sluts..good luck! victorias secret has the best undies btw (4 for $25 or something)

even though you aren't very close..you're only 15 or 16 so i'm assuming she still pays for your things...so if you don't really feel comfortabe talking to her about this, then ask her for the money and go purchase your own undergarments. If this isn't right for you either...go to a close family member or friend and see if they could help you get what you need. Hope this helps!
