Cocktail last night and I was wondering, at the end when Tom Cruise's characters friend killed himself on the boat how did he do it? did he shoot himself or cut his throat or what?

i don't think it was every made clear how he did it. i think it was probably inferred that it was drugs/booze.

i'm always more distracted by the absurd amount of hair-do's tom has going on in that movie!
