I keep getting e-mails saying these companies need someone to cash checks for them or they will deposit so much money into your account and and you send them a money order for the amount minus a commission.

They are a scam. Typically the checks are stolen, and your bank will accept them, and probably not notice until a few weeks after you have sent the money on.
My company had there checks stolen and sent to people to cash. Our bank cleared only 1 or the 6 that came through, so if you did this, the banks, the FBI, and or the police could come after you to find out how you got the check etc. Then you would be out the money you forwarded. If these people can cash a money order, why can't they cash a check, think about it that way?

No. If you give them your banking info so they can "deposit" money in your account, they will use it to withdraw money. If they send you a check, it will be no good (but your bank will not notify you about this until you've sent the money to the swindlers). Do NOT get involved with any of these people!

if only it were true we would all be rich! but its just a great big lie ,a joke,a rip off dont fall for it ever! if you tried to cash it and sent them their "cut" you will have to pay all the money back and any other costs you might incur like bouncing checks from your own account and you could go to jail if you were unable to repay! remember if it sounds too good to be true it probaly is! good luck!

Scam. Run away from these. Type in the name of the company and the word scam into Google and you will find people who were swindled.

Honestly, I can't believe there are people who still fall for these types of scams. Obviously you at least questioned it, but some people can't seem to figure out somethings wrong when someone asks for your money.
