kwame has such great potential. there was a reason why he was drafted number one straight out of high school. but he plays like he plays pick up ball at a local neighborhood. To me he doesn't play hard enough. You cannot say its because of injuries too because he was already on a decline before he got injured. i believe hes only 25,I think he still has a chance to become one of the elite pf/c in the league. what do you think?

I would like to see him succeed, but if he hasn't in 6 yrs time it's probably not going to happen. I feel that his potential is overrated anyway. He has relatively short arms, and doesn't have the hand size of that of a Amare or Shaq. As far as reach is concerned, which is the most important aspect of height, he plays around 6'9 1/2.

Ppl always talk about his potential, but I've never seen more out of him than a run of the mill NBA player, possibly slightly better than average player - not once. This was the first yr in his career that he has averaged over a full block per game. His career average is only .7 Blocks per game. Keep in mind that he only played in half of the games this season too. Also, his career high in rebounds is only 7.4.

I feel that he has potential, but not as much as ppl like to say that he has.

I agree with that other dude... its called laziness and lack of motivation... Have you seen his body? how long has he been in the NBA? and yet his body still looks fat for an athlete! Look at LeBron, D-Wade... they're bodies developed in 3 years... just by that you could already say that Kwame's a slacker... He doesn't run up and down the court... He can't even catch the freakin ball... Look at JO... got benched in Portland for 4 years... playing behind Sheed and Sabonis... but he worked hard... got traded to the Pacers... and showed his full potential... AND THATS WHAT KWAME NEED TO DO!

He messed up big time. Jordan was teaching him when they were together at Wizards. But he didn't take advantage of it.

He needs to work on his hands, everytime you pass him the ball he fumbles it.
