The only souvenier I have held on to over the years, is a stone. A flat stone that has 1979 etched into it. It was the last visit to my Grandparents cabin in Julian,Ca.(they sold it in 1980) Soooo many good memories there. We hiked up the mountainside and each picked something.
I have not been there since.
When I was a kid, going to visit my Grandparents was the only vacation I ever went on.
That one flat stone holds more good memories than any souvenier from Disneyland!

Any of the stuff I brought back from Cancun, Mexico as that was the best vacation I've ever had...a blast!!!
When I win the lottery (HA) I'm gonna take everyone with me to Cancun.
Of course, my chances of winning the lottery would increase exponentially of I actually played the lottery...LOL.

I was about 15, my dad brought me back a 22. magnum, 9 shot, single action, revolver. The manufacturer was " Standard", a good gun maker, but not to be confused with, "High Standard", a hell of alot better.

When I flew to Oregon, I saved some sand, and stuff, put it in a jar, and smell it sometimes to remind me of that special time. I run my fingers through the sand, and fantasize I am at the pacific again.

When I was married, we went to Amsterdam and took some really great pictures. When I split, I left the pics and I wish I had them back.

My first time ever seeing the ocean ( my honeymoon), I bought a really awesome sand castle! It reminds me of our whole trip and just how special the trip was for me...
