I heard on the news that this guy added up all these numbers from like the bible and stuff and said that the world was going to end next week on May 11 2007, is it true?

no one knows for sure when the world is going to end so don't ever listen to these people who think they know everything bcuz they don't only god knows when he is coming back. He is the one coming back and he is god and no one knows except for him. hope that helps :)

I believe that he believes that the world is gonna end on the 11th May, but I really don't. Think about 6/6/06, lots of people thought that was gonna be the end of the world but I'm still here =].
Also, if you really think about it, you would be able to come up with any date if you add up things from the bible, it just doesn't mean anything. Only god knows when the time will come.

People have been predicting the end of the world since at least the time of Jesus, and probably before. The world is still here. I think the chances of the world ending on May 11, 2007, are pretty small, don't you?
Besides, my birthday is May 28, so it better not end before I get my presents!

This line of logic has been going on as long as their were religious fanatics. No, the world will NOT end on May 11th, 2007 - it just a pile of bull#$@!!!

No. It's not true.
Religious freaks want you to live in a constant state of terror.
Why you choose to go along with that I really don't understand.
But if you enjoy living in an irrational state of terror, knock yourself out.

I'll be able to give a concrete answer on the 12th. There have been many who have juggled the numbers and their dates have come and gone without the end occuring yet. I would not get too worried or make plans for this occurance.

The "Bible Codes" have decyphered Biblical predictions of 9/11 etc supposedly.
The Mayans calendar ran out in 2012, thus they "kind of" predicted the end of the world.
The Holy Bible says (paraphrased),"No one knows the time of my coming." words of Jesus Christ.
Personally I'd trust Jesus over those others...
Jesus has never lied to me...and NEVER WILL!

Ok so what can we do about it if it is true?? I don't bother with those things. Live everyday in a good way as if it were your last.
