No if I can't keep a promise then I don't make them. I'm really good at not making promises unless I know I can keep them.

No. I only say "I promise", if I intend on keeping it.But on occasion,sh*t happens and the promises are broken. Like Mary Poppins says.....it's a "pie crust" promise. Easily made, easily broken. My intentions are never bad and I do my best to keep my promises.

I usually take the word lightly because you never know whats going to happen. One time I promised one of my friends I wouldn't drive after I had been drinking. I even pinky-sweared and kissed my pinky!! Then when she went to the restroom I stole my keys and ran.
Man of man was she pissed.

I believe people should always follow their word whenever possible. I don't have to promise, to make sure I do what I say I'm going to do. Your word is your word, promise or not!
