mmm everyone is different I suppose. Do you not recall ever having a happy moment? Can you close your eyes and recall how that felt? Many of us will look to find things that make us happy. Thing is that the happiness is there already we just need to find the key to unlock it. Some times meditation helps, or music or sketching (and no you don't need to be an artist). Try some thing new. What advice would you give yourself if you were half the age you are now? We have all we need to be the happiest we can be, we just need to let it be.

Maybe you could call up your buddies and go out more. Spending time with your friends and keeping busy can keep your mind off of the breakup. Perhaps you could also exercise to work off some of your negative feelings. If you're spirtual, you can pray or meditate to be calmer and happier. Good luck.

Some things that help:
talking to a good friend;
spending time with people and being involved in activities;
walking and/or exercising;
making sure that you get enough sunlight during the day - that is if you have an office job and do not get outdoors during the day;
planning a trip to see a friend or family...

Sounds like you're seeing yourself in a negative light. Go do something for someone else-charity work, put dimes in parking meters, anything. This moves the focus to a more benevolent view of yourself. Good vibes will be yours for the taking! :)
