I am deployed in Kuwait and have a cell phone. My fiance lives in germany and used some of those 5 digit access numbers to call me cheap on my cell phone, everything has been going fine since September, now all of a sudden she calls and five minutes later she can't hear me anymore. This has been going on for the last two months... and ideas?

Which mobile service you are using for, MTC "eazy" line or Wataniya. I would suggest you to contact the service provider to rectify this problem.

It has nothing to do with the carrier. I am having the same problems and my family is from kuwait. No matter what line i call except for land lines, this thing keeps happening. Apparently, Kuwait has a history of doing this to international calling card companies by raising prices on them. It works fine if she calls you without calling cards.

Hi,

Which service provider are you using? In any case , the call is being disconnected from the other side as you are receiving local/and other calls normally. You can ask your wife to call you from a different service provider's calling card and check. I am almost sure it is a problem with this particular calling card company which your wife is using.
