Are people still teach their kids to be racist?

Sadly yes. It was very hard for me growing up because both my parents are racist. I think that people are all the same no matter what color. I get so tired or racist jokes every time I go to family gatherings. I think no matter what we do there will never be an end to racism. People don't understand how to see others for what they do instead of what they look like.

Of course, racism will not go away until people realize that we are all one race... Human. Racism afflicts every race and creed of people. Every religion, every sect of a race feels the effects of racism. It continues because children see their parents act and speak and feel a certain way about other people. They grow up thinking it is the correct way to be because it is the example they have seen. People do not want to stand up and take responsibility for their own thoughts and actions and stop it within themselves. It will not end until every man, woman and child stand up and say "Its ok that everyone else is different from me. That is what makes me 'me'.".

Its not just black and white. It's every race. Just look at the Iraqui's. Shiite's and Sunni's killing each other every day, and both tribes track back to the same single arabic nomad tribe.

Unfortunately, yes. There are still a few ignorant people left who are teaching their children to dislike and hate other people because of something beyond their control. But we have to be responsible for what we teach them because what we teach our children is what they'll teach their children and the cycle goes on for generations to come. It's important that we instill love, and respect into our children so that it will be given to any and everyone regardless of the color of a persons skin.

yup. I live in GA and they still are so racist and Ignorant here, and at the grocery store I work in, i here little kids talking just like their parents and being racist. Its so sad

People think that Blacks are racist against them, but the truth is that Blacks are more racist towards themselves than anyone. so i get mad as hell when someone whines about black racism to me...because i live around black ppl in a black neighborhood in a black school and I EXPERIENCE THE IT EVERY ******* HOUR.

people also think "Oh blacks are racist, they have BET and Miss Black American and the United ***** college fund"
uhh...BET is for anyone to watch, and they hire biracial ppl not BLACK.
Miss Black America is usually for the snootie, upperclass Blacks that think they are OH SO CUTE
and the United ***** College Fund doesn't help anyone!!! You have to go to a Historically Black College to get a scholarship from there. And the ppl who choose to go to those colleges are predominantly BLACK by like 98% because non-blacks don't want to go there. ALSO NON-BLACK OWNED COMPANIES GIVE MONEY TO THAT FUND. SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PPL ARE MAD. DOES IT LOOK LIKE A BLACK PERSON OWNS ABERCROMBIE & FITCH??? YET THEY GIVE AWAY LIKE A $10,000 SCHOLARSHIP. DOES A BLACK MAN OWN MCDONALDS? KFC? WALMART? ALL THOSE PPL GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS TO THAT FUND. DON'T BE MAD AT THE UNITED ***** COLLEGE FUND, BE MAD AT THOSE COMPANIES
