I mean, damn, not every fan of a celeb is crazy, most act like the celeb they supposedly *love* so much are some kind of god or something when they're really just normal people like us but just with a better lifestyle than us, (more money, bigger houses, expensive cars, etc. which doesn't mean a damn thing to me to tell you the truth), they have feelings too so if someone were to try and date them just to take advantage of them for their money or because of their fame then that person is nothing but a low life and a waste of time and space.

Only personal rules, not any formal kinds. Celebrities normally don't date fans, because they might be stalker crazy, or only daying them for their money. So maybe it isn't really that stupid of a rule, just don't scream in their face and act like u never worship them at home. Maybe they'll date u.=)

I doubt that there is a rule saying that they can't date fans but why would a celeb date a fan. I wouldn't want to date anyone that didn't make good money like I do. If a celeb dated a fan, they know the only reason why the fan wants to date them is for their money, therefore dating another celeb is better because they both have a lot of money, and that balances things out for the guy or woman.

definite, of direction. Why ever no longer? celeb and fan have not got a legal or ethical duty in direction of one yet another. except the celeb is an admiral and the fan is an enlisted person under their command or something. Or instructor and pupil. something that's precluded for different motives.

No theres not. but I think a celebrity would most likely start dating someone they have known or do know (like another celebrity), instead of just some fan who they met by chance or something.

Their publicists will be disappointed if they do. Its not great for their image, but as free people, they are allowed to date whoever they want.

no i dont think there is a rule. i think some stray away from the crazies but other than that they can date who they want.
