well if you still have the original earrings when you got it first pierced, use those... If not use a pair of studs. You can use ice or a numbing cream & just stick them through...
It stings, wont lie to you on that one - but in the world of pain, its not that bad.. But leave the studs in for about a week & make sure they stay clean & dry.

I had the same problem before too. First, you really shouldn't take off your earings until 1 month after you got your ear pierced. I thought mine got closed up since I took it off early, but it really didn't. It might looks like it did because I had difficulty put on my earing, but I tried slowly put them on it would still work. It hurts a little, but it's much better than get it repierced. I suggest you try to put on the earing yourself until you cannot bear the pain anymore. Then wait for a few more weeks to get repirece again. And when you do get repeice, remember don't peirce on the exact same spot.

Put some numbing ointment on your ear, or ice it. Then use clean hoops that lock. Put antibiotic ointment on the ear every day for one month, and leave the hoops in one month.
p.s. I have one ear that tends to close up because it wasn't pierced properly and have used this method many times.
If this doesn't work, you may need to get it re-pierced.

AAAH! don't pierce it yourself! my friend had the exact same prob. and she repierced it herself. it did not work out. she had an awful infection, even though everything was sterilized. she also had 2 go to the ER because her ear swelled up so much!! just go to a jewelry store, or a doctor. they'll do it.

it doesn't hurt a lot. you should go to some place to get the piercing and not do it by yourself.
