Hi i am developing a software in vb. But I want to prevent it from Piracy Issue. So what is the best solution for it. Please send me details.

Depending on how far you want to go, several options exist:
1) Lock the software to a specific hardware configuration. Often a MAC address or some combination of hardware on the client system is used to generate a unique ID that you can generate a license file for. That license would only work against that particular configuration
2) Create a floating license server on the network and "lease" licenses out to instances of the running software. You'll need something like the suggestion in #1 to make sure multiple instances of your license server aren't running on multiple networks.
3) Look to solutions provided by Macrovision. They provide a variety of solutions including locking software to a particular hardware dongle key.

Usually some encryption scheme coupled with an activation code is a good way to prevent piracy. If it's VB.net, make sure you obfuscate your program once it's done. If you've ever seen a little tool called Reflector, then you know how easy it is to disassemble any .net assembly.
