That would depend on why they are making noises. Most of the times rabbits are pretty much silent. Sometimes very faint, gentle squeaks that are only audible when you are within a few inches of their mouths.
Their fear noise is much like a human scream and is loud and frightening. They usually only scream when they are in mortal danger or been attacked. The scream is very shrill.
A particularly aggressive rabbit may use loud, low grunt and growling to drive others away, initiate fights or defend themselves when being attacked. This sounds much like a dog but of a lower pitch for their small size.
The only other time I have heard rabbits make noises is during mating and can be much like the grunts and growls described above.
So they squeak, grunt, growl and scream.

Rabbit only make a terrible screaming noise if they are being harmed. They are usually very quiet animals. Some are more vocal that others my vet was suprised whenone of my rabbit had to stay at the vets when ill about the range of noise she made but they weren't loud she just wasn't happy. They do grunt . Rabbits are not the best pets for everybody they are alot of work and can work out to be very expensive as they are prone to dentall problems which means life long vet treatment which can work out expensive. You really need to do lots of research on them before deciding if rabbits are for you.

When they are content, they "click" their teeth together like they are chewing. It's called a "tooth purr." Equivalent to a cat purring.
When they are excited, like expecting to be fed or get a treat, they make a little muttering sound, like a soft hum.
When they are mad or scared, they will grunt and growl.
They will also stomp their back feet.
And when they are badly injured, attacked, or terrified, they scream. It is a HORRIBLE sound, and I hope a rabbit owner never has to hear it.

As prey animals, rabbits generall don't make much noise in order to avoid attracting attention to themselves. However, they can still make noise.
The will thump their foot when angry or annoyed, grunt when angry, scream when scared, grind their teeth, and they'll make happy little noises that I can't really describe. >^.^>

Rabbits, themselves, generally don't make noise. If they make barking like noises it's because they probably have urine or fecal matter up their nose and it's clouding their nasal passages...then, you need to keep the cage cleaner and disinfected.

rabbits snort and they can shriek when they are being tattooed or other wise bothered (even nail trimming). it is the worst and saddest noise ever! but it only hurts for a split second, and i dont use that painful method.
typicaly when they are upset or mating they snort and kinda sound like a quieter pig.

Rabbits scream! It's a bloodcurdling noise that once you hear it you never forget it. i used to raise rabbits, when they fight and one get s hurt it may scream. I've had them get loose and my dog has gotten ahold of them, they may scream then too. It's awful, especially because they are generally so quiet.
