Why is there "sensitivity training" and doesn't that impinge on my freedom of speech? or does freedom of speech only apply to the left wing jackazzzes?

Sorry blueridge, Freedom of speech DOES cover hate, slander, libel, inflammatory rhetoric. We just have to accept the consequences of our exercise of free speech. I'm asking this question because it seems that quite often, people who hold views generally understood to be "left" or "liberal" exercise knee jerk reactions or assumptions. There are many cases to point at.... for example, some of the "protests" or shouting down anothers opinion? I'm open to discuss, but debate is ridiculous.

Spi_ri_t - Why is it wrong to offend? as long as it's not intentional. There is very little anyone can say to me that I would consider offensive. I have to know you, respect your opinions in the past before you could honestly "offend" me. We all need to get a thicker skin rather than walking on eggshells and not expressing ourselves. It's the only way we'll really be understood.
