Not by my physical appearance. I'm blonde, so they usually assume I'm stupid. I'm probably more intelligent than 90% of the people I meet. I'm not too big, (5'5"/126) so they assume I'm weak. I work out a lot so that's not accurate, I'm much stronger than they know. I'm soft spoken, so they assume I'm meek. And that's definitely not true.
When they actually meet me though(speak to me), they probably get an accurate 1st impression. I don't hide who I am.

Well I used to think so until recently when my car broke down in town the other day. I drive a 2004 yukon and it just so happened to run out of gas on a four lane road. I sat there for almost 45 min with cars just whizzing by me. I couldn't just get out and walk because I had a 2 month old baby with me and I live in Alaska and it was just to cold. 2 police officers drove passed and probably hundreds of other drivers, finally a man pulled up behind me and asked me if I needed help. This was the last person I thought would ever reach out a helping hand just based on his appearance. He was very ragged and obviously a stoner but he is a #1 citizen as far as I am concerned. He got my car off the road and waited until help arrived, I learned you cant judge anyone by their appearance or lifestyle!

I don't think so. I am large, blonde, and wear a bunch of makeup, but not the world's nicest clothes (usually jeans and t-shirt) and well past youth... I also am a successsful graphic designer with certification for 150 wpm on a non-correcting keyboard, no errors, and 187 IQ (certified, also). So, while I look like an old bag lady most of the time, I don't think that's an accurate representation of who I actually am. (not homeless, either, lol)

People shouldn't but they do. They really don't care what you are going to think about them and yeah they judge you by your looks and all that. I really don't like to judge people because I don't want them to judge me. But some time they get a weird first impression of you. Like before I started school I had to go for my enrollment thing and the lady that works at school in the front office look at me smiled and said "You look like a party girl" and I laughed but like that was so weird because like I'm really a party girl but I take serious stuff from school and like I know when to party and when not to. Well I hope this helps!! Good Luck!!

Good question! Have a star....
I don't think you can accurately judge anyone by their appearance. I have to dress up for work (skirts and pretty shoes) But I would much rather be in jeans and a t-shirt riding a quad or camping. I don't think you would get that vibe if you saw me on the street.

never. appearance is physical - physical is temporary with time it changes greatly no body looks the same way they did a few years ago... people are always changing in "appearance" wether is thier body, thier style or looks. but personality and character are bound to stick forever and stereotypes like pretty girls being "b*tchy" or snobby, arent true - i think most of us know that u cant just match a person up to a character by just looking at them. thats why we "get to know eachother" - because people dont have thier best/worst qualities stamped on thier forhead:)
ull meet the boys dressed up in "gangster wear" givin off the image of a tuff guy that doesnt give a woop about the world.. but really there are guys who do that just to cover up- to feel safe walking around because they are insecure.
weve all met people who "act" one way but are really another so to this question... u cant judge a book by its cover

No. Some days I dress "prep" and others "goth" and some days I wear jeans and a t-shirt. I play one sport but its not my life and I like school and reading, but I'm not a nerd. People think that by the clothes you wear or the stores you shop at they can determine what you like and think about. It is simply not true. I as a person don't wear my emotions on my sleeve and you can't tell what I'm thinking by whether or not today I'm wearing brand name, all black, or a team hoody.

People can judge you by anything, even without meeting you. I guess the question would be, can they make a fair assessment of you, based on your appearance. I can't be wrong though, by judging some of those guys I see on TV with their underpants sowing and having to walk wide, because they don't have on belts and so on. There is no doubt I could be wrong when I judge them as being STUPID.

Yeah you can judge a book by its cover right away. Some people have the talent/skill to tell how one is by the way someone presents herself. Smart guys can judge a book by its cover.

First impressions last a long time. People do wrongfully judge you upon your first impression.
