You know how SOME gay guys speak, with that half man, half woman's voice.

When I hear a guy speaking with that voice, can I assume that he's gay? Or is that just another lame stereotype?

When it comes to sexuality, assume nothing.

Actually, the Republican party is becoming a tad more gay-friendly. There are quite a few gay republicans. It's just as likely that a gay person would be a republican as a democrat. Don't be quick to assume about anyone's sexuality. Just take them at their word.

Without trying to sound too preachy or self-rightous... I'll give you my "opinion"... because I don't believe there is a clear-cut answer:

"Yes" sometimes.

"No" sometimes.

You kind of need context to make that kind of "call". What does he like to do? What does he like to wear? Does he wear a lot of rainbows?

The things around him will give you better information than his voice alone. And if you don't or can't get to know him well enough to uncover those other factors, just enjoy the mystery.

No, I think you would be correct 99.9% of the time. It's called "gaydar".
Of course, you could also meet a guy who's totally buff and manly, who is gay. Like on Brokeback Mountain.

It's a lame sterotype, some men have soft voices and some women have low voices. Don't assume any thing.

No, it's true. Butt sex damages a mans prostrate to the point where he no longer produces the levels of testosterone that he did before he engaged in acts that caused the damage.

This causes the "prancing" and "lisp" that are so prevalent in the gay community.

Well I wouldn't bet on it working 100% of the time. It does work sometimes though.

But like, I've met men who are heterosexual and talk like that. I mean they could be in denial, but that's not for me to deal with.

So don't count on it 100% of the time. You never know until you ask.

lol, no. There are straight guys who talk in that voice you're referring to. Though a lot of gay guys do seem to use that voice...
