I want to enlarge photos as found for example in Google images. Is this possible, if so how. Thanks to you all

Not really. You can enlarge them but they will become very pixel-ated. Not a pretty sight. I don't know what your purpose is for the pictures but if you're looking for photos that are of print quality and of a good size, check out the site istockphoto.com Very reasonable prices, large images available.

I agree with the above. Going big to small is no problem but small to big will present problems with quality.

2nd istockphoto, use it all the time.
