You could if you want to go to jail. That is copyright infringement and it is against the law. Burning them for yourself is illegal too, but you are less likely to get in trouble for it because you are not profiting from it. If you sell them on ebay you are risking a huge fine and jail time. Read the FBI warning at beginning of movies if u have any questions about it.

it's called copyright infringement, and is investigated by the FBI before being passed to your states attorney for prosecution.

This felony will first get your Ebay account locked-out before you even sell the first one, and then they will cover their own assets by reporting you to the authorities, else Ebay themselves can be included in the charges for condoning the practice.

There are hundreds of attorneys, investigators, and sub-contractors browsing the auctions every day looking for copyright infringements...and while you may find a few sellers you think are getting away with it...they will all eventually be caught and charged.

It's not a wise thing to do...
It would be classed as stolen goods/forgery.
Don't forget, the Rozzers check out eBay too... :)

(for our American cousins, Rozzers = Police)

It's advised not to but by all means go for it (just make sure you tell them that they are burned CD's).

No. If you don't have a contract with the record company, and you don't pay royalties the artist, then it is illegal.
