Yes, you have an ego problem. Enjoying competition too much, as you seem to, can be very detrimental to forming healthy relationships with the opposite sex. It may also hint at some insecurity or feelings of inadequacy on your part. Try cooperating instead of competing, sometimes.

Big ego's fall hard, can't hack it and kill themselves.

Richard Cory (2:57) Read the poem on which this song was based!
P. Simon, 1966
They say that Richard Cory owns one half of this whole town
With political connections to spread his wealth around
Born into society, a banker's only child
He had everything a man could want: power, grace, and style

But I work in his factory
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be
Oh I wish that I could be
Oh I wish that I could be
Richard Cory

The papers print his picture almost everywhere he goes
Richard Cory at the opera, Richard Cory at a show
And the rumor of his parties and the orgies on his yacht!
Oh he surely must be happy with everything he's got

But I, I work in his factory
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be
Oh I wish that I could be
Oh I wish that I could be
Richard Cory

He freely gave to charity, he had the common touch
And they were grateful for his patronage and they thanked him very much
So my mind was filled with wonder when the evening headlines read:
"Richard Cory went home last night and put a bullet through his head"

But I, I work in his factory
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be
Oh I wish that I could be
Oh I wish that I could be
Richard Cory

Think about it, the higher your horse the harder the fall, I would consider popping your ego bubble

I would say that you do have some sort of problem with guys and I was wondering if they mind when you stand at the URINAL alongside them to have a leak. If it is not an EGO thing, then I think you wanted to be a guy all along and just don't know how to approach the women yet. Another thing I was wondering about. " Do you have a kick start or a battery powered one?"

Do you watch Grey's Anatomy? If not, here's a little explanation. Christina is dating Burke. Burke is an amazing surgeon, Christina wants to be as well. She is always in competition and that gets to Burke a lot. He doesn't understand why there is always a fight to be right, the best, so on and so forth. I don't either. Your ego is going to get you no where but lonely. Sometimes, even when you are right, you have to bend. Compromise, ever heard of it? Try it sometimes, and while you're at it- walk down to your nearest bakery and buy yourself a slice of humble pie.

it involves people trying to "make themselves better" but they often do this at the expense of others. Many strive for superiority or dominance not equality. One way to make yourself feel better is to knock others down, for example mud slinging in polititcs. And plenty of everyday examples of calling the advesary a coward or stupid.

This also have to do with our value of people. If you don't go around thinking other people are better than you, then chances are you walk around thinking you are better than others. Both sides of this coin are responsible for much of the hatred and evil in the world, certainly war and violence. Racism, sexism, nationalism, all derive from thinking your ism is better than the others and more deserving of life and respect.

This is why 31 dead virginia tech kids are an atrocity but 300 dead Iraqi's are just broken eggs in the omlet. Cause you think you're better than them.

Be careful, it could be hard for the 3 of you to get into a meaningful relationship.

The 3 of you: You, the guy and your ego.

so what else is new, a lot of women hide their resources hoping to attract a mate. If you want to mate hopefully you will be able to select him based on his achievements and not hold your success over his head as a trophy.

You are angry that men have all the power. It is harmful because you will alienate people.
